1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and LedgerBright ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our website and accounting education services.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the website and all its content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by LedgerBright, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

Our course materials, including videos, documents, presentations, and assessments, are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, cached, or otherwise used, except with the prior written permission of LedgerBright.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Course Registration and Payment

By registering for a course, you agree to pay the specified fees. All fees are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice.

Payment for courses must be made in full at the time of registration unless a payment plan has been arranged. We accept payment via credit card and other payment methods as specified on our website.

Refunds may be provided in accordance with our refund policy, which is available upon request. In general, we offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee for our courses.

5. Course Access and Use

Upon successful registration and payment, you will be granted access to the course materials for the specified duration of the course. Access to course materials may expire after a certain period, as indicated in the course description.

Course materials are for your personal use only and may not be shared, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes. You may not allow others to access the course materials using your account.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of our courses at any time.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall LedgerBright, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the service
• Any content obtained from the service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the service.
